What if I don't have artwork?
No problem, you can sketch out or send us a file describing what you're looking for and we'll help you out. We will do simple typesetting of your name and message at no charge! Just tell us the name or describe it and we'll try to locate it for you. If we need to recreate your art, the charge is typically US$40, if you need it in a hurry it's US$65.
If you can't find art that meets our electronic submittal requirements, we can always assist. Once we recreate your art, you won't have this charge again. An e-approve will be provided for you to review.
What if I want a specific colour match imprinted?
Customers who require specific colour matching should provide us with "PMS" colour numbers where suitable. We have an online pantone colour chart that you can use to compare colours relative to themselves. Due to all monitors are different, the colour what you see on the screen will surely be different when viewed in person. If your logo is to be embroidered, we will select a thread which most closely matches your PMS colour.
What kind of graphic file should I send you?
Art files can be created in Adobe Illustrator CS, Macromedia Freehand 9.0, or earlier versions of these programs. Other format may be acceptable if they can be saved as an EPS. All files must be saved as EPS and all text converted to outline. EPS format files provide high grade reproduction quality allowing images to be resized with no loss of sharpness or detail.
Design for Text
We highly recommend that all text be converted to outlines. If not, all fonts, font suitcases, printer fonts and screen fonts must be included with your art. Please note that the smallest text size may be typically around 6-8 pt. with some exceptions. The letter should be non-serif and at least 3/16" to 1/4" in height for embroidery.
Design for Single colour
We propose Adobe Illustrator files, however we also use jpeg or tiff files if their resolution over 600 dpi (dots per inch) at the size of the imprint area. The logo should be in black on a white background.
Design for Multiple colour
Send only original EPS files. We can’t accept art files from the following Mac or PC platforms: BMP, Photoshop EPS, JPG, GIF, PICT, or TIFF. Do not attempt to save these files in an acceptable format. We can’t guarantee files sent from PC platforms (BMP, DOC, GIF, PICT, PPT) or any other than our preferred file formats or acceptable software will be usable. PC files such as DOC, EXE, PCX, PPT, P65, or XLS are not acceptable. These file formats are generally low resolution that doesn’t suitable for printing and can’t be appropriately modified.
